How is it that Napa Valley produces excellent Cabernet Sauvignon but lacks Pinot Noir of great heritage? Mendocino grows wonderful white grape varieties but cannot produce world-famous red wines. Sonoma produces outstanding Zinfandel but wine judges look the other way at their Cabernet Sauvignon.
This class will familiarize you with the six major California grape-growing regions to aid you in making the best choices when purchasing California wines. The event is free and open to the public and there is no need to pre-register.
