Mission Pacific Hotel Presents Oceanside’s Inaugural Mini Ramp Jam
Mission Pacific Hotel is proud to present Oceanside's Inaugural Mini Ramp Jam, an invitational event for world-class skaters to compete in a mini ramp showcase in partnership with NFTys.io, USA Surf and Visit Oceanside. As an action sports mecca across the disciplines of surf, skate and snow, Mission Pacific Hotel will construct a mini ramp custom to the property's Pacific Garden, boasting epic views of the Pacific Ocean, Oceanside’s historic pier and the iconic Top Gun House. From X Games gold medalists to national champions, thirty skaters including Clay Kreiner, Mitchie Brusco, and Beaver Fleming will compete in a three round competition comprising eight heats. The top four competitors will split a $6,500 prize purse sponsored by Visit Oceanside and Oceanside Sports Commission.
Mission Pacific Hotel's Mini Ramp Jam Vendor Village will surround the competition in the Pacific Garden, featuring retail pop-ups from SunBum, Oakley, LossProof, Kové, Brixton, Surf Ready Fitness and more, as well as Theragun massages from Sunny’s Spa and Beauty Lounge and organic juices from Piper. Mission Pacific Hotel will also debut their Hang 10 Locals Only Offer at the event, granting a 10% discount to Oceanside locals at The Rooftop Bar, The Shore Room and Piper (must show valid Oceanside ID).
The event will also feature a raffle to raise money to support USA Surfing’s Gold Medal Para Surfing team defend their world title at the December 2022 ISA World Para Surfing Championship in Pismo Beach, Calif.
