LONG STORY SHORT - Open Mic Storytelling Night

October is a month for ghosts, for shadows, for hauntings. What spirit insists on tormenting you in the darkest hours of the night, no matter how much you wish, pray, or beg it away? What do you keep giving in to, no matter how many times you tell yourself you won't? What gives you the opposite answer from what you want to hear? Is it an angel trying to set you free, or a devil damning you to an eternity of madness?

Or have you made a declaration as simple as “Hey, I’m never voting Libertarian again!” Share your true story! However you want to tackle this theme, the mic is yours. At Long Story Short, tell your story without notes in five minutes or less, in a fun environment with no pressure. Anyone can throw their name into our hat and be called upon randomly to share their story. Or you can just watch! Long Story Short follows the idea of a campfire, where we tell tales, bond and make friends, and pass the talking stick (ok, you come up to the microphone). Take Your Turn!
