Día de Muertos is a celebration grounded in healing and a way for communities to continue to honor and preserve their sacred cultural ceremony and knowledge. As a space rooted in community, we want to help normalize grief. We encourage our community of all backgrounds to light a candle in celebration of the lives of those we’ve known and loved.
We invite YOU to bring a photo, keepsake, or offering to leave at the altar to honor our ancestors and remember our loved ones that have passed away.
Dia de Muertos is Nov. 1-2, and HSCC’s Community Altar will be on display from Oct 29 - Nov. 5, 2022.
When: Oct. 29, 3-6 p.m.

The Hill Street Country Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to shaping the growing arts and culture scene in Oceanside and the surrounding North Country region. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse atmosphere that reflects the socioeconomic landscape of our community. To complement the traditional gallery space, we organize pop-up art shops, cultural events and art workshops around our community. Local artists, business and residents all benefit from the interaction that The Hill Street Country Club facilitates.
