Sacra/Profana, San Diego’s premier professional Choral Ensemble will present a Christmas Concert December 17, 7 P.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, 4761 Cass St, San Diego. Founding Director and Principal Guest Conductor, Krishan Oberoi will lead the ensemble in revisiting several pieces from their latest recording ”A Longing for Christmas” along with a performance of David Lang’s Pulitzer prize winning cantata “The Little Match Girl Passion”. Based on the story by Hanz Christian Andersen and inspired by Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, this stunning work for chamber choir will pull at your heart strings and cause you to think about the meaning of the season.
