It is that time of year again. We are vigorously planning for the 2023 MLK Luncheon and your participation has always been critical to its success. The Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon is Friday, January 20, 2023, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, Montezuma Hall. You are invited to be a sponsor of the event. Sponsorship of $500 includes recognition in the program booklet, eight tickets to the luncheon, and reserved seating. If you supported our 50th anniversary with a sponsorship level donation you will receive a discount on the luncheon.
It is important that you submit your reservation as soon as you can because reservations fill up quickly. Please contact Kaia Brown in Africana Studies at kbrown@sdsu.edu if you have any questions. Deadline for inclusion in the program is Friday, Jan. 6, 2023. The deadline to reserve your table is Monday, Jan. 9, 2023 (if tables are still available).
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union
Named after Conrad Prebys who gifted $20 million to San Diego State University for student scholarships, the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union serves as the campus living room for student life. Designed as a LEED Platinum building and has several energy conservation features. Amenities and services include dining, retail, lounges, meeting rooms, a multi-purpose Montezuma Hall, 300-seat Theatre, outdoor courtyards, bowling and a fitness center. Funding for the $104 million student union comes entirely from SDSU student-approved fees.
