Did you know that pharmacists are probably the most accessible professionals in the healthcare system, and you can reach them anytime without an appointment? Learn about the fascinating and impactful profession of pharmacy! Students will explore several foundational topics, including what pharmacists do, the numerous pharmacy career pathways, and the healthcare professionals who work with pharmacists. Through a Q & A conversation with a practicing pharmacist, students will discover how pharmacists serve the community and make a difference in improving our health.

La Jolla Riford Branch Library
The La Jolla Riford Library is functionally efficient and sensitively integrated, the community meeting room is conveniently adjacent to the main entrance; an adult reading area offers a cozy fireplace; and a separate children's reading area incorporates scaled and inviting window seats. The main desk is close to the staff workroom and the lounge area provides open and unobstructed views. An exterior courtyard and fountain provide overflow reading space in a pleasant outdoor retreat, while on-site parking areas are screened by low courtyard walls and a flowering landscape.
