The La Jolla United Methodist Church is honored to host the West Point Glee Club for a concert in their sanctuary on Saturday afternoon, April 1, 2023 at 4 P.M. Known for their dynamic choral sound, diversity of repertoire and national prominence, this outstanding organization has touched audiences around the world. Appearances include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Boston Pops, Opera Orchestra of New York, PBS Affiliates, the Super Bowl and in countless other venues and ceremonial duties. The Glee Club has made numerous recordings and made nationally broadcast television appearances. The concert in La Jolla is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken to support future concerts at the church. Early arrival is recommended for best seating. We hope you’ll join us for this momentous occasion.

School Goals: Meeting the developmental needs of children in physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual growth as an interrelated and continuous process. Offering a developmental, play-oriented program with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, such as art experiences, dramatic play, stories and music. Providing a safe, loving, caring place for children and their families during the preschool years. Programs: For three-, four- and five-year-old children: Nursery School classes meet two, three, four, or five days per week from, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1 p.m.-4 p.m. or 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Birthdate guidelines determine placement in each program. For two-year-olds: Playgroup classes meet one or two days per week, 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Child must be two-years-old by Aug. 31 to attend two days per week. For Toddlers: The Parent/Toddler Discovery Group is offered one day a week for 5-7 weeks to parents with children nearing two years of age. Summer School: A five week session is offered each summer to children ages 2-5 years old, on a space available basis. This program is held three days per week (T, W, Th); 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
