The Alt Protein Project works to promote alternatives to animal proteins, as a means to create more sustainable, equitable, and safe food systems. This event is a regional summit aimed at education, networking, and interdisciplinary community building within the food systems space. There will be multiple panel discussions, student and external organizations tabling, food tastings, and more. The event is free to the public and will be a great opportunity for community members to learn more about these pressing issues, and how to get involved - even build careers - in alternative proteins and sustainable food systems.
