From MCASD:
Join us on Sunday, April 9 for Prebys Play Day. Based out of Conrad Prebys Learning Center and sprawling into the galleries, we invite you to explore the work of San Diego based artist Amy Adler (American, born 1966). Inspired by Adler’s piece, "Location (Playground no. 5)" (2014), come create a map of your favorite play space complete with your very own beaded figure.
Engage with our art community:
- Create a stamp community mural with Chiho Saito for Mingei International Museum
- Art making workshop with A Reason to Survive
- Help us decorate a miniature of "The Rain House" by Ernest Silva (2008), fabricated by Kurosh Yahyai from the New Children’s Museum

10 a.m. Delve into our permanent galleries with a kid-friendly tour
11 a.m. Join Leah Nevarez for Rhythm & Movement, a music lesson for all ages
12:30 p.m. Listen to art-related stories, songs, and rhymes in storytime with Ms.Katia from the La Jolla/Riford Library
