“I VITELLONI” ("The Young and Passionate") (1953. 104 minutes) - Italian maestro Federico Fellini’s first international success is a shimmering comic reverie mixing affection and acid satire. Five young wastrels adrift in the wasteland of their provincial town spend their listless days dreaming, scheming and womanizing. Starring Alberto Sordi and Franco Fabrizi. (In Italian with English subtitles).
FILM FORUM CORONADO is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library, on the first and third Wednesdays, with a brief introduction before the film and a discussion afterward, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
