Barrio Star Dog Adoption Event

On Saturday, August 5 Barrio Star is taking the ‘dogs days of summer’ to a whole new level by hosting an Adoption Event, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The vibrant, modern Mexican Soul Food eatery is partnering with PAWS4Thought Animal Rescue to help some furry friends find their new, forever homes.

The all-breed animal rescue organization focuses on pulling dogs from shelters when they are at risk of being euthanized, as well as abandoned, abused, and stray dogs in both the U.S. and Tijuana/Rosarito areas. PAWS4Thought’s primary goal is to rescue and rehabilitate these dogs in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent “fur-ever” homes. The non-profit also works to educate the public by providing information on rescue procedures and conducting low-cost and free spay/neuter events for those who need these services.
