'Fiesta del Libro' at the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego
From the organizers:
The first "Fiesta del Libro," a joint effort between the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego and the Fondo de Cultura Económica USA, to celebrate reading and books in Spanish. This festival of books brings together independent libraries and bookstores in San Diego with the mission of promoting and encouraging reading in Spanish among children, teenagers, and adults. It will feature a presentation by the Mexican authors Ana Romero and Alberto Chimal, "opera kids", storytelling, reading activities, free books, and surprises. The opening ceremony of the “Fiesta del Libro” starts at 11:00 a.m
