On September 8, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa will be hosting an event that is part of the highly-anticipated, first-ever Del Mar Wine & Food Festival, the Winemakers of Napa Valley Tasting, which will be held on The Croquet Lawn from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Eight respected wine makers from California’s premier wine region will be hosted for a tasting experience paired with incredible bites and small plates (think Australian Wagyu Beef cooked over charcoals topped with peach jam and rosemary blossoms, 100 layer potato with house made crème fraîche, and more!) created by the resort’s Executive Chef Christopher Gentile.
Wineries that will be showcased are Atlas Peak, B Cellars, Baldacci, Paradigm Winery, Priest Ranch, Rutherford Ranch Winery, Schweiger Vineyards and Tournesol, and each small plate will be perfectly paired with two different wines.
