Gelson’s presents an exclusive virtual wine-tasting event, offering an opportunity for wine enthusiasts to savor the flavors of exceptional wines from the comfort of their homes. This immersive event, featuring the expertise of renowned winemaker Julien Fayard, promises to be an unforgettable evening of wine, knowledge, and gourmet delights.
Julien Fayard is a highly respected winemaker in Napa Valley known for his passion and commitment to crafting wines that truly reflect the essence of their origins. Julien has earned a reputation for building wine brands of both exceptional quality and market presence.
The virtual tasting will take place on October 16 at 6 p.m., and will feature the following specially priced wines that must be purchased separately: Gelson’s Reserve Chardonnay, Carneros ($29.99) , Gelson’s Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley ($32.99), and Gelson’s Reserve Cabernet Franc, Napa Valley ($32.99).
The cost of admission is $28.99, and includes a Custom Cheese & Charcuterie plate designed for two, thoughtfully crafted to complement the wines perfectly. Indulge in a selection of curated treats, such as Clawson White Stilton with Apricots, Castello Aged Havarti, Barber’s English Cheddar, Beehive Barely Buzzed, Isigny Ste Mère Mimolette, Aged French Cheddar, Fratelli Beretta Organic Prosciutto, and Olli Salumeria Sopressata. This spread is accompanied by La Panzanella Crackers, Villars Swiss Dark Chocolate, Assorted Dried Fruits, and Fresh Grapes.
