Forest Talk: An interactive conservation exploring tropical forest conservation

Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Del Mar City Hall
All Ages
Free
RSVP required!

Come celebrate two reasons to remain hopeful – vibrant, healthy forests and the communities dedicated to keeping them that way!

Join Nature and Culture International for this special opportunity to connect with Matt Clark, Executive Director. Bring your curiosity for an informal Q&A on the connection of tropical forests and global climate health. Leave with a deeper understanding of how you are contributing to a healthier world for current and future generations.

Clark will discuss Nature and Culture’s work to preserve Latin America’s most biodiverse, carbon-rich ecosystems, side-by-side with Indigenous and rural communities. Together, we have secured legal protection for over 25 million acres of threatened ecosystems, storing 3.4 billion tons of carbon - at an average of just $10/acre.

Everyone has a role to play in achieving a thriving, stable climate. Come celebrate yours with us!
