Dr. Jaime Pineda will present and then lead a discussion based on his recent book: "Controlling Mental Chaos: Harnessing the Power of the Creative Mind" (Rowman and Littlefield Publishers,2023). Dr. Pineda will discuss the relationship between brain, mind, and wellbeing. Although anxiety and incessant thinking reflect uncontrolled creativity, you can use time-tested techniques and your own mental abilities to recover your creative nature and live a flourishing life.

Dr. Pineda is a Professor Emeritus of Cognitive Science and Neuroscience at U.C. San Diego.
