On Feb. 14, the vibrant jungle-themed Mexican restaurant and cocktail lounge will be offering an exclusive four course dining experience for two at a total of $119. Each person will get to choose an appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert. Details below:
Dinner for Two for $119 (Pick one each from the following sections):
Appetizer:
- Baja Bisque: Lobster, Shrimp and Crab Bisque
- Ahi Tostada: Sliced Ahi Sashimi, Chipotle Mayo, Avocado, Krab and Eel Sauce
Salad:
- Caesar Salad: Baby Romaine, Cotija and House Made Caesar Dressing
- Frijoles & Arugula Salad:
Entrée:
- Stuffed Lobster Tail: Lobster stuffed with Cotija, Oaxaca, Breadcrumbs and Tomato. Served with Rice, Beans and Tortillas
- Chipotle Ribs: Dry Rubbed Mexican Chipotle Rib with Mexican BBQ Sauce, Rice, Beans and Flour Tortillas
Dulce:
- Valentine Cake by BecksBakez: Chocolate Cake, in the Shape of a “Be Mine” Heart Candy
- Churro Cheesecake: Creamy and Delicious Cheesecake with Cinnamon Sugar
Beyond the four-course experience, El Sueño will also be offering a limited a la carte menu.

The Vibrant Group is a multi-generational restaurant group is composed of veteran restaurateur Sal Busalacchi, who helped his brother Joe establish his popular Italian eateries in Little Italy and owner of the San Diego Sports Arena’s first pizza place in the late ‘70, serving the then San Diego Clippers; son Pietro Busalacchi, a vibe dining whiz specializing in music, atmosphere and food; and Georgetown Law grad Gustavo Rios, longtime family friend, and successful businessman, attorney, and engineer.
