Yes, we have an idea of our character’s traits, but how well do we know how they would react in certain scenarios? How does their anger or angst or compassion come across?
In this two-hour generative workshop, we put our protagonist through the paces. Dig in deeper through creative prompts—come out with a more fleshed out character, with perhaps a few insights and laughs of our own in the process.

San Diego Writers, Ink is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We offer classes, groups, workshops, readings and other literary events at The Ink Spot and other locations throughout San Diego County. Parking: Plenty of free parking near building, including parking lot just outside. Offices are upstairs from the Women’s History Museum. Hours: We are only open during events and classes. Please check our schedule. Most classes and events are held in the Ink Spot but some are held in other locations throughout San Diego, including the La Jolla Public Library and Lestat’s Coffee House. Please double-check where your event is being held.
