Celebrate Earth Month and learn how to do your part to reduce food waste. Enjoy family-friendly activities, workshops and live music at the City of Carlsbad’s annual Earth Month Celebration event.

- Reduce food waste with smart food storage and food extending demonstrations
- Participate in a clothing swap by bringing gently used items like t-shirts, jeans and jackets
- Learn how to garden in small spaces, grow your own veggies and pickle them
- Make sustainable beeswax wraps and produce bags
- Join a kids’ bike rodeo
- Pick up compost and mulch at a drive-thru event in the Carlsbad Senior Center parking lot
