The San Diego Veterans For Peace will be displaying its Hometown Arlington West Memorial on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, 2024 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The display, made up of approximately 300 headstones, honor the men and women from Southern California who gave their lives during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. During the day, their names will be read multiple times, a bell will toll, and people will be asked to honor them and to consider their sacrifice.
