“Defending Your Life” (1991, PG, 112 min) - Albert Brooks wrote, directed and stars in this prickly  and satirical existential fantasy. After dying in a car crash, a hapless ad executive (Brooks) finds himself transported to Judgment City, where his humdrum journey through the universe is examined.
