Windscape, a woodwind quintet, will be performing at the Rancho Bernardo Library on Saturday June 29th at 2:30 p.m. Works include Barber's "Summer Music", Fine "Partita", Hindemith "Kleine Kammermusik"
Windscape is part of the Finest City Musician's Alliance- a family of artists working together to produce unique content.Through artistic leadership, the organization unites the community with premier artistic performances, mentorship, and multi-disciplinary collaborations to create a more vibrant San Diego County. Windscape performs around San Diego County in small venues including library concerts, school assemblies, dessert and coffee date night concerts, art galleries, and other community spaces. The quintet boasts some of the finest players in FCMA.

Rancho Bernardo Library
Through a grass-roots fundraising campaign, the Rancho Bernardo community advocated for a new library to replace the 1978 building, deemed too small to serve a rapidly-growing population. Built with a combination of private donations, developer fees and state grant money, the current Rancho Bernardo Library opened in 1996. The building features high ceilings with plenty of windows, letting in natural light. A second floor meeting room and ample parking make the library a popular spot for community meetings, concerts and musical performances.
