Please join the San Diego Council on Literacy and the San Diego Public Library for a screening of "The Truth About Reading," a new eye-opening documentary from Emmy-Award® winning director Nick Nanton and produced by San Diego-based nonprofit, the John Corcoran Foundation! Tuesday July 16 at 4:30 p.m. at the San Diego Central Library (Downtown) Neil Morgan Library Auditorium, 330 Park Blvd., San Diego.

"The Truth About Reading" looks at the illiteracy problem in America, highlighting people who learned to read as adults, and sharing proposed solutions for working towards a future where every child learns to read proficiently.
