Join the Museum of Making Music for a FREE afternoon of film and discovery with two screenings of the 2023 Academy Award-winning short documentary "The Last Repair Shop." Between screenings, we will be joined by special guests from the repair department of Bertrand's Music as they share stories, tools of the trade, and more.
About the film: In a nondescript warehouse in the heart of Los Angeles, a handful of devoted craftspeople maintain over 80,000 student instruments. Meet four unforgettable characters whose broken-and-repaired lives have been dedicated to bringing much more than music to the city's schoolchildren.
