The San Diego Veterans Day Parade is an annual event honoring those who served past and present. Thousands of residents and community leaders will line the parade route on Nov. 11, 2024, to pay tribute to America’s heroes – the veterans of our Armed Forces.
FREE museum admission for veterans in November!
In recognition of the service and sacrifice of our veterans, the USS Midway Museum offers complimentary admission to U.S. military veterans from Nov. 1 to 30. Tickets can be obtained at the museum's ticket booth with proof of service (DD-214, VA card, retired military ID card, etc.).

Visitors to the USS Midway Museum enter a floating city at sea and walk in the footsteps of 225,000 Midway sailors who served our country and upheld the American ideals of strength, freedom and peace. The USS Midway Museum is an unforgettable adventure for the entire family. Guests can spend the day exploring more than 60 exhibits with a collection of 25 restored aircrafts. The self-guided audio tour, narrated by Midway, sailors brings the carriers history to life. Those who dare can "take to the sky" aboard one of three flight simulators.
