Aging and Independent Services

Are you unable to aid loved ones who face issues with self sufficiency on their own? If so, you won't want to miss our next Zoom meeting, where you'll learn to find crucial assistance for choice, dignity, and control within your community.

Guest speaker Matthew Parcasio from San Diego County Aging & Independence Services, will present an  overview of nearly 30 programs and services offered by his agency and other community providers. Matthew has an MA in Gerontology and extensive experience caring for older individuals and adults living with disabilities.

A question & answer period will follow the presentation. We'd like to know if you benefitted from any of these services in San Diego or wherever you live. With government budget cuts, we'd also like to know if these programs have been cut or eliminated.

Let's explore the devastating difficulties and challenges too many people are facing alone, and learn what solutions are available in our communities. We look forward to your participation in this meeting as we overcome the harsh struggle to maintain autonomy and independence together.
