Islam has a long tradition of caring for the earth and using its resources responsibly. Join us this Friday, May 23 at 8 p.m. at the Islamic Center of San Diego for a free presentation featuring Taha Hassane, Imam of the Islamic Center, Dr. Wael El-Delaimy, Professor and researcher at UCSD, and Brother Yusef Miller of the Islamic Society of North County, addressing the religious, scientific and activist aspects of earth care. This event is co-sponsored by Interfaith Coalition for Earth Justice and the Islamic Center of San Diego
