Bring the entire family to MCASD for our family series, Play Day!
From 11a.m. – 2 p.m., design and trade your very own stickers inspired by Takashi Murakami’s "Flowerball: Open Your Hands Wide" (2015).
Art Activity: Design and trade stickers in Prebys Learning Center
Additional Programming:
At 11a.m., join a kid friendly tour that explores works in MCASD’s special exhibition, "An Artful Life: A Tribute to Matthew Strauss"
- From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., enjoy music by local DJ Amel, a book nook, a play zone, and a Kool-Aid Stand inspired by Murakami in McGrath Terrace
- At 1 p.m., Ms. Katia, Librarian on the Go, will also lead stories, songs, and rhymes in Storytime.
*Museum admission is free from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. for all visitors, with Play Day offerings happening between 11 p.m.– 2 p.m. No RSVPs are required for Play Day admission.
