This event is designed to educate, inspire, and bring together people from all backgrounds. Our goal is to build a community that values cultural heritage, resilience, and diversity. By honoring and supporting Black-owned businesses in the North County region, we aim to foster an environment where inclusivity thrives, and everyone feels welcome. This celebration is an opportunity for individuals and families of all backgrounds to learn, engage, and connect with the rich American history that shapes our shared future. Together, we can celebrate the strength and unity of our community, while creating a space where all are invited to grow, contribute, and make a difference.
It is presented and hosted by Lionel and Natalie Saulsberry of the Couples Unfiltered Podcast/LLC in partnership with Clinton and Renee Huggins of AIM achievementinmotion.org
We will host an opening ceremony with an MC, the Black National Anthem, the National Anthem, a Marine Corps Color Guard, a speaker and prayer. Then kick off the event with a DJ, keynote speakers and love music.
25-30 unique vendors from all over North County, San Diego and L.A. will be positioned for your shopping and engagement pleasure.
We will be offering a special paid entry ticketed VIP section of the event where we will showcase local Black Executive Chefs from all over the county, serving small bites, as well as providing Zero-Proof Bartending services. The tickets include entry to this VIP section of the event, photo ops and swag bags. Tickets sales will be announced closer to the end of May.
