Mission Valley invites the community to a movie premiere party on Friday, July 11. It’s a Bird... It’s a Plane... It’s a party to celebrate the new "Superman" movie!

Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, California, invites the community to celebrate the opening weekend of the thrilling new "Superman" movie with an event full of action, fun and heroic vibes on Friday, July 11, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the AMC Theatres Court in front of Yard House.

The evening’s events will feature strength challenges, live music, Superman and Supergirl appearances, prizes (while supplies last) and lots of themed photo opportunities.

Guests are invited to dress up as their favorite heroes to make memories at Mission Valley’s "Superman" movie premiere event, before catching the new “Superman” movie releasing the same weekend.

This event is free and open to the public. While pre-registration is not required, space is limited and guests are requested to RSVP

"Superman,” DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind. DC Studios heads Peter Safran and Gunn are producing the film, which Gunn directs from his own screenplay, based on characters from DC, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
