This class is a continuation of the Family and Beginner Sewing 102. In this next series you will learn how to sew a zippered pouch with a lining from beginning to end. You will learn to install a zipper, add lining and construct a pouch. You will apply the skills you learned in series 101 and 102 to this class to help you with all the finished touches of your pouch.
It’s best to bring your own sewing machine, but you may also borrow one of ours. If bringing your own machine you MUST have a zipper foot to use with your sewing machine. Please note if bringing your own sewing machine it is very important to make sure it is fully functional.

Adults and age 7+ (with adult) welcome!
Please be punctual to this class. Students who show up more than 15min late will not be able to catch up, and will be turned away to keep the class on schedule. Plan ahead for traffic and parking.
REQUIRMENT: If you are new to using a sewing machine, you must take Family & Beginner Sewing 101 & Family & Beginner Sewing 102 first. In order to enroll in 103, a student must know how to thread and use a/their sewing machine, have a basic understanding of fabric cutting and iron pressing techniques, and be comfortable with beginner sewing techniques.
