Dr. Jeff Crooks, Research Director of the Reserve, will discuss how long-term monitoring allows tracking of how the system responds to pressures of sediment, pollutants and trash that water carries. The Tijuana Estuary is considered one of the top most important wetlands in the United States.

North University Community Library
The North University Community Library is located at Nobel and Judicial Drives, in the vicinity of 805. The library is in a park setting with a design for expansion when needed. Inside features include a children’s and storytelling area with a separate children/young adult librarian on site, an adult and young adult area, a computer lab with 14 computers and wireless access throughout the library, a self checkout station, two seminar meeting rooms, a separate Friends’ book store, a community/meeting room available after hours and a coffee kiosk in the vicinity of the entrance to the library.
