Come find out about the uniqueness and wonder of ferns and lycophytes. CNPS, San Diego Chapter presents a talk by Jon P. Rebman about local Ferns and Lycophytes.
Jon P. Rebman, Ph.D. and Annette Winner are the authors of a new filed guide titled “Ferns and Lycophytes of San Diego County”. This field guide has descriptions, keys for identification, local natural history information, and a color plate for each species that shows all of the key characters important for getting to know these species. This publication is part of the San Diego Natural History Museum’s journal series, the Proceedings of the San Diego Society of Natural History. It will be available for purchase at the meeting, and may be signed by Dr. Rebman.
Our meeting starts at 6 p.m. with some socializing, book sales, and information on our upcoming Garden Tour on April 11 & 12, followed by the presentation at 7 p.m.
