Verbatim Books is bringing something new to North Park. Beginning this year, the North Park Community Fair will take place on the first Saturday of every month, transforming North Park Way from 29th Street to Ray Street into a rotating, community-centered street fair.
Each month will feature a different theme designed to highlight the creativity, small businesses, and people that make North Park and San Diego so special. From creator and art fairs to community reading days, swap meets, and our much-loved Mini Book Fair and full North Park Book Fair, this ongoing series is about connection, collaboration, and celebrating the neighborhood we call home.
We’re kicking things off with the return of one of last year’s most popular events:

The Creator Fair is an all day celebration of local creativity, spotlighting artists, makers, small presses, zine creators, crafters, and independent creatives from across San Diego, with priority given to North Park–based creators. This year, we’re growing the fair with even more creators, making it bigger, more vibrant, and more representative of the diverse creative community around us.
