Join us for the inaugural Stand Down Awards Luncheon, benefiting VVSD's nationally recognized Stand Down event, which provides critical services to hundreds of homeless and at-risk Veterans in San Diego County.
The luncheon will honor outstanding community partners and champions who demonstrate exceptional commitment to serving Veterans and strengthening the broader veteran community. The event will feature live music, a paddle raise, silent auction, and a special art presentation by retired Navy Chief and artist Joe Pisano.
Explore the origins of Stand Down with Robert Van Keuren and Dr. Jon Nachison, the visionary founders who launched the first Stand Down for homeless veterans in 1988 right here in San Diego in a panel discussion with Akilah Templeton, President & CEO of Veterans Village of San Diego.
Whether you attend as an individual guest, host a table, or step up as a major sponsor of Stand Down, your presence helps expand the reach of future Stand Down events, provide more veterans with access to food, shelter, clothing, health care, legal and benefits support, and pathways to permanent housing.
Reserve your sponsorship or tickets today and stand with Veterans Village of San Diego in the urgent, achievable work of ensuring that no one is left behind and every veteran has a place to call home.
