Making her Fourth Friday Jazz Series debut, singer, guitarist, song-writer and activist Steph Johnson is a multifaceted San Diego powerhouse! Along with bassist Rob Thorsen, pianist Melonie Grinnell and Richard Sellars on drums, look forward to an evening of soulful jazz and blues, familiar standards and uplifting originals. In her distinctive, smokey, lush voice are the influences of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, and Stevie Wonder.
