Saps at Sea, the San Diego Laurel and Hardy group, presents: Shorts Night! An Evening of Short Films

FREE for Kids 12 and under!

Films include "Night Owls" (1930). Police Officer Edgar Kennedy forces Stan and Ollie to burglarize the police chief's house so Kennedy can take credit for catching them.  What could go wrong?

In "Scram!" (1932), a judge orders our favorite vagrants to leave town. A drunk gentleman invites them to stay at his mansion, except... it's the wrong house!

Next, Babe Ruth shows kids how to play baseball in "Slide, Babe, Slide."

In "With Love and Hisses" (1927), Stan is in the army and causing trouble for his sergeant Babe Hardy.

We'll also show Marc De Coninck's Stan Tribute and the Emmy-winning documentary "Revenge of the Sons of the Desert" (1987).

Donation is $10 per person and includes desserts. Yes, you can bring in takeout or other food.

The Saps at Sea will also host the International Sons of the Desert convention in San Diego, June 21-25, 2026.
