GiGi's 5k Donut Run

Join GiGi’s Playhouse San Diego on Sunday, April 19, 2026, for the 8th Annual GiGi’s 5K — Dash for Down Syndrome, a joyful and family-friendly community event along the Mission Bay waterfront. This inclusive celebration welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, with options to take part in a 5K run, 1-mile walk, or Dash for Down Syndrome fun run.

Whether you run, walk, push a stroller, roll, or come to cheer others on, everyone is welcome. All participants receive an official event T-shirt (guaranteed with registration by March 31), a finisher medal, and a celebratory donut at the finish line.

The GiGi’s 5K is the largest annual fundraiser for GiGi’s Playhouse San Diego, supporting free educational, therapeutic, fitness, and social programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Funds raised stay in the local community and help provide life-changing opportunities that build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills.
