'There’s No Place Like Home' Gala: Celebrating 50 Years of Walden Family Services

Walden Family Services will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the “There’s No Place Like Home” Gala on April 30, 2026, at the historic Thursday Club in San Diego. Set against an ocean-view backdrop, the evening will bring together community leaders, supporters, and partners to benefit housing and supportive services for foster youth.

Inspired by the "Wizard of Oz," the gala will feature themed décor, live entertainment including performances by Mariam T and her queens, and a menu by Behind the Scenes Catering. Proceeds will support Transitional Age Youth as they move toward independence, providing stable housing, life skills, and critical resources.
