San Diego Floral Association's 2026 annual "garden tour with a difference" on May 30 presents five open gardens in historic Marston Hills, a neighborhood founded by George Marston in 1924 on the northern boundary of Balboa Park. The "Majestic Gardens of Historic Marston Hills" tour includes the former Walton Family estate and other large properties in one of San Diego's most charming enclaves of beautiful homes and mature plants and trees. The nonprofit Floral Association funds scholarships and community gardens and has published California Garden magazine for 117 years.
