Students will explore the Art of Careers by learning about real artists and creating their own artwork inspired by their styles and materials. Participants will paint an acrylic sunflower inspired by Vincent van Gogh, create an ocean scene using recycled materials inspired by environmental artist Angela Haseltine Pozzi, and design yarn crafts such as bracelets or pompom animals inspired by fiber artist London Kaye.

At the same time, we'll discuss how artists turn creativity into real careers. Everyone will have the opportunity to share and present their artwork in a mini gallery walk at the end of the program. This is an in-person program. Registration is encouraged.

Audience: This program is recommended for children ages 8-12.
