Founded in 2022 in Culiacán, Sinaloa—the birthplace of banda—Banda Raíces Sinaloenses brings an authentic and electrifying representation of traditional Mexican banda music to every stage they play. Built on a mission to preserve the roots of regional Mexican music while delivering high-energy, crowd-pleasing performances, the group blends tradition with a vibrant, modern edge.

The band is made up of seasoned musicians whose collective experience includes performing alongside some of the biggest names in regional Mexican music, including Alfredo Olivas, Valentín Elizalde, El Chapo de Sinaloa and Joan Sebastian. This deep musical background shines through in their precision, powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence.

Known for their engaging performances and infectious energy, Banda Raíces Sinaloenses performs a wide-ranging repertoire of corridos, rancheras, cumbias and contemporary regional hits. Every show is designed to feel like a true celebration—full of passion, culture and orgullo.

Now expanding into the United States, the band is proud to share the unmistakable sound of Sinaloa with new audiences, bringing their music—and their roots—to stages like the San Diego County Fair.
