A Steampunk Tea at UCSD Geisel Library will act as an exhibit-opening celebration in the Library lobby area (at The Nest and the adjacent Classroom One.) Lots of steampunk excitement from noon to 2 p.m. Refreshments! Steampunk give-ways! Sneak previews of steampunk stories from our 25th Annual Paper Theatre Festival. Steampunk music. Tarot readings from steampunk decks. Bonus: play on a real Theremin, if you dare! Tea leaf readings from unusually brewed teas. Also: make a sassy steampunk paper hat, if you have time. Make your own personally blended, bespoke teabag to take home.
