Sparks Gallery presents "Pop Culture Remix," a vibrant group exhibition showcasing contemporary artists from across the nation who reimagine the enduring influence of Pop Art. Selected through a national call for artists, this exhibition explores the colorful, playful, and thought-provoking relationship between art and popular culture.
Featuring works inspired by advertising, celebrity culture, comics, nostalgia, consumerism, and everyday life, "Pop Culture Remix" highlights how today's artists continue to reinterpret the visual language of Pop Art for a modern audience. Through bold imagery, humor, critique, and innovation, the exhibition celebrates the movement's lasting impact while offering fresh perspectives on the culture that surrounds us.

Sparks Gallery
The Sparks Gallery is housed within the historic Sterling Hardware Building in San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter, located between Island & Market on Sixth Avenue. Sparks Gallery is an event space and represents contemporary artwork by artists living in San Diego and Southern Calif. The Gallery was awarded the 2015 People in Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse by Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO).
