McDonald's of Southern California is teaming up with barbers and hairstylists from Country Club Barber Shop to offer free haircuts to Escondido students as they prepare for the 2026-27 school year. The event will take place on Aug. 17 at McDonald's, 1146 E. Valley Pkwy. Walk-ins are welcome from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with giveaways and fun activities for kids. Children can also enjoy free chocolate chip cookies and apple slices, while supplies last.
Limited appointments available, and the event will be held on a first-come, first-served basis.
