Write About Now Poetry brings its nationally touring live poetry experience to San Diego on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Handlery Hotel San Diego.
Hosted by Mason Granger, the show will feature an open mic alongside a special performance from Grammy-nominated spoken word artist Shawn William, who has toured with Jill Scott and performed at venues including The Apollo, Radio City Music Hall and The Kennedy Center.
Based in Houston, Write About Now produces more than 150 live events annually and has built an online community of more than 2 million followers, helping bring contemporary spoken word poetry to audiences around the world.
