The Photographer's Eye opens their 7th annual "(S)Light of Hand" juried exhibition of alternative, historical and experimental photographic works.
Juried by Ann Jastrab, Director of The Center for Photographic Art Carmel, California, over 45 works will be on display through October 31.
Many artists will be in attendance for the opening from 5-7 p.m. on September 12, Second Saturday's Art Walk on Grand Avenue in Escondido.

The Photographer's Eye: A Creative Collective
We are a group of photographers who have a passionate dedication to photography and we hope to enrich the community through sharing our knowledge and expertise. Our gallery exhibitions feature fine photography by our Collective Members as well as curated shows of established and emerging photographers. Our space hosts classes, talks, workshops, and portfolio reviews and provides a meeting place for the thoughtful exchange of ideas. We have a burgeoning research library of fine photography books available to all whenever we are open. We have opened our rental Darkroom and one can sign up to use it through this website. We are part of the thriving Arts District of Escondido, and wish to be YOUR hub for the photographic arts.
