Hostler Institute in association with San Diego Diplomacy Council presents:
Behind The Ceasefire: The Hidden Diplomacy Of The U.S.-Iran Crisis
Featuring Giorgio Cafiero, CEO Gulf State Analytics
Please RSVP: https://forms.gle/XLRCnynxoeKnMxHM9
Throughout the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, several West Asian countries—Pakistan, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, and Egypt—have served as vital diplomatic bridges between Washington and Tehran, helping preserve dialogue and create pathways for de-escalation.
This talk will examine the national interests driving these mediation efforts, the challenges of averting a renewed escalation into full-scale war, and the broader implications for U.S. foreign policy and the future geopolitical order of West Asia.
