Luxury, wildlife and philanthropy come together in San Diego this month for the 3rd Annual Cheetah Soirée—an unforgettable night dedicated to saving the world’s fastest land animal.
Just two weeks away, the Cheetah Soirée will bring together conservation supporters, luxury travelers, philanthropists and animal lovers for an evening featuring:
• Kenyan hors d’oeuvres & African wine
• Silent and live auctions
• Raffle
• A special presentation by Mary Wykstra, founder of Action for Cheetahs in Kenya, on the urgent work being done to protect cheetahs in the wild
• The evening’s headline auction item: a luxurious Kenyan safari for two valued at $28,000
Returning as a proud sponsor is Piper and Heath Travel, whose founder Chris Liebenberg has been named to Travel + Leisure’s prestigious A-List of Travel Advisors for the 12th consecutive year.
But this evening is about more than luxury.
It’s about using an extraordinary night to shine a light on an extraordinary animal—and helping ensure cheetahs have a future in the wild.
Guests will discover how conservationists are working to protect cheetahs and their habitats, while having the opportunity to make a difference through their attendance, auction participation and support.
“Cheetahs are an extraordinary symbol of the beauty and fragility of the natural world,” said Brianne Youngberg, US Outreach Coordinator. “The Cheetah Soirée gives people a chance to come together, enjoy an incredible evening, learn about the work being done in Kenya, and—most importantly—help make a tangible difference.”
